The Tulsa Day Center depends on hundreds of volunteers each year for both professional services and routine daily assistance. We offer flexible hours and days to fit into your busy schedule. Each volunteer will be provided an orientation along with staff supervision and support.

Youth volunteers, who are at least 15 years old, are always welcome. After school hours are not available, however there are many weekend opportunities. Letters for school-required service hours are provided.

Here is a current list of positions that are available:

Volunteer Assistants at the Front Desk - Welcome and sign-in clients, answer a very busy phone, respond to a variety of questions, and check for client's mail. Volunteers are needed everyday. For example on Mondays volunteers are needed to cover the desk during an all-staff meeting for approximately two hours.

Volunteer Assistants in the Clothing Room - This is a very busy position that provides an opportunity to be directly involved with clients.
